Child Labor and Education Awareness

The organization conducted 2 programs on Child Labor and Education Awareness in remote villages of Koppal taluk. Officials from the Education Department were invited to sensitize communities about:

• Negative impacts of child labor on children
• Legal consequences of sending children for work
• Importance of child’s education

Programs were held in Alwandi (56 participants) and Kardigudda (38 participants) villages.

Sukruti also distributed shoes and school materials to children with support from TOMS and IDFC Foundation.
